Malkeh, Goldeh, David, Joseph, Elkeh, Esther and Malieh. Of the seven, two came to America: David in 1906 and Esther in 1926, via Canada. In 1989 and 1991, descendants of Malkeh and Malieh arrived. This website traces each of the seven descendant lines: in America, Ukraine, Moldova, Russia and Israel; it adds historical context; raises questions; evokes mysteries; mourns tragic deaths and celebrates successful lives.
